You may notice that some of my original painting look a bit washed out in comparison to its print version. This is due to the fact I use natural pigmented watercolors made by another artisan. They usually cant get as dark/rich, leaving the original a bit more muted.
Why would I use a this particular paint then? you might ask. Well I have found that This particular paint Has so much more depth in color than most other paints. Because its more translucent I'm able to build up colors in a way I cant with other paints. Giving me more exact hue's when mixing and layering.

Why are you just now listing an original? Didn't you paint it awhile ago?
When I sell Originals It always feels more personal to me. I'm selling something I spent hours, if not days on. Something I contemplated the pose/colors for weeks before actually putting pencil/paint to paper.
I contemplate if I should part with it.
Sometimes its hard deciding if I should because I personally like the piece. Other times I'm simply waiting till I have a stack so more people have a chance to grab one. :)
